It’s Saturday in Portland

It’s just a typical summer Saturday in Portland with people enjoying the fountains, the waterfront and street performers. Once again I throw my plastic lens Holga camera in my purse because it is light and easy. The problem is that all the photos are soft and slightly out of focus. I know that is the attraction, for many, of the Holga but I feel I need to shelf this camera for a while and get back to my Hasselblad 500 CM.  The draw back of my Hassie as a street camera is that it takes tie to focus and so I can’t be very discreet.

About gretchen

I love living in the Pacific Northwest being close to the mountains and the ocean. My hobbies include photography, travel, reading, biking, walking and gardening. I am an Anglophile at heart and try to visit the UK often. My camera goes everywhere with me.
