Yesterday was the 40th Dory Days Celebrations at Cape Kiwanda. It started with a parade through the town of Pacific City and ended with music and a fish fry on the beach. Cape Kiwanda is unique because the dories are launched right from the beach early each morning during the fishing season.
I’ve never seen so many people on this beach. Parking was a problem and soon the beach was lined with cars.
We spent most of the day walking the beach and the dunes.
In the afternoon we ate the fish prepared by Pelican Pub and then drove a few miles south to read and people watch on the beach at Neskowin.
Several rolls of film ran through my Holga, pinhole and Spinner cameras, but today it has to be digital photos. Have to wait for the film to come back from the lab.
