Some Holga-ness

Sometimes when I get my film back from the lab I am disappointed. I have to admit that it is usually when I have used my Holga or some other plastic lens camera. The cameras have a crude way of setting the exposure and it’s not always satisfactory.  I love the Holga because it is light and easy to carry around. I also like the 120 format. But I think I like more consistent results.

Some of my photos turn out okay, but when I use the camera in low light  my results are less than perfect.

I’m not going to give up on my Holga,  but it will probably sit on the shelf a little more and the heavy, but wonderful, Hasselblad 500 will be my #1 go-to 120-format camera.
