I like visiting old cemeteries. I like reading the headstones to learn something about the people who lived and died in the communities around the churches. Some of the stones are so elaborate and represent the love people had for the departed. The sad thing I am seeing in these cemeteries is vandalism. Stones are broken up and pushed over onto the ground. In response to this some of the cemeteries are locked to the general public. Others have CCTV cameras installed around their perimeters. This cemetery, in Hay on Wye, Wales, had some gorgeous monuments and then in one area I found stone after stone broken and overturned.
