Looking for yellow made me see things I never noticed before. There’s a great little journal called “Wish I was here” that gives you little photography assignments that will make you see your surroundings in a new way. I plan to take it on my next trip to England. One of the suggestions is choosing a color and taking photos of everything you see that day that is that color. So I chose yellow on this day. Try it. It doesn’t have to be a color, it could be anything: a model of car, coffee kiosks, abandoned gas stations, tree grates, man-hole covers, phone boxes. The list is endless. Stretch your imagination. Have fun.
