Visiting gardens

Drove to Salem yesterday to my monthly British Travel Group meet-up and now that I am retired I decided to leave early and visit the Bush Prairie Gardens near the Willamette University campus. I was really there at the wrong time of day to be taking photos of flowers but I managed to find a little dappled shade to offset the harsh light from the sun…..which I haven’t seen much of lately.

It was nice to see people enjoying the park: strolling, picniking(not a real word) and playing on the swings. I decided to pull out the macro and then the Lensbaby while managing to get another 2+ mile walk.
